This modernized version of the classic Lada Niva is called the Travel. It is a compact SUV with a 5-door self-supporting body suspended with coil springs and telescopic absorbers. Its excellent performance is provided by an independently suspended front axle. A robust solid rear axle enables driving in demanding off-road conditions. The Travel takes over the best features of the Niva to become a unique comfortable car both for on-road and off-road driving. It includes Lada Niva's full-time 4WD, inter-axle locking differential and low speed gearbox.
