The successor of the traditional UAZ 469 has a closed all-metal body on a high torsion ladder frame. The Hunter is one of the last pure off-road vehicles in the world and is equipped with two solid axles. This solution provides durability and a long lifespan, while maintaining minimum service costs. Leaf springs on the rear axle ensure a higher payload capacity. The front axle is equipped with coil springs to improve driving comfort.

This enhanced spark-ignition 16V engine is equipped with BOSCH multi-point fuel injection. It has linear output and torque curves, which implies its predestination for both comfort on-road driving and off-road operation in harsh conditions. This original Russian engine excels in cultivated running, reliable design and long lifespan. It can be modified to alternative operation on LPG or CNG. 

A time-proven synchronized five-speed manual transmission ensures maximum reliability and durability while driving in any conditions. The UAZ Hunter keeps its reputation of the legendary indestructible vehicle and therefore it is equipped with a second gearshift lever for mechanical connection of the 4x4 drive and an additional low range gearbox.

Equipment

Simple, incredibly practical, entertaining and functional - all of these qualities characterise the UAZ Hunter. Main features include a washable interior, deep storage boxes and grab handles for passengers, which you get to appreciate during off-road driving. An all-metal dashboard painted in the body colour and a long gearshift lever for comfortable gear changing dominate the interior. The car is approved as a special purpose vehicle (SG) for transportation of smal animals, therefore it has extra accesories.
