This spacious modernized combi with the traditional Bukhanka design offers a closed all-metal body with 5 to 7 seats and large cargo space divided by a fixed bulkhead. The UAZ 3909 AMC Combi is based on a high torsion steel ladder frame with two durable solid axles suspended by four leaf springs. This design offers the best combination of passenger and cargo space. Rear row passengers can utilize an integrated foldable table.

This modern spark-ignition 16V engine is equipped with BOSCH fuel injection.  It provides maximal output and torque in low revs, which implies its fundamental advantage in harsh off-road operation. During the on-road operation it offers swift moving offs and cultivated running. Its sufficient output and gear ratios enable problem-free motorway operation. This engine type is suitable for a modification to LPG fuel and can be diagnosed via OBD connector.

The UAZ 3909 AMC Combi's simple design is its biggest advantage. The vehicle has been modernized to today's time but with a minimal use of electronics. The synchronized 5-speed manual transmission provides maximum reliability. Both the 4x4 drive connection and the 2-speed low range gearbox are controlled manually from the driver's seat.
