This modern spark-ignition 16V engine is equipped with BOSCH fuel injection.  It provides maximal output and torque in low revs, which implies its fundamental advantage in harsh off-road operation. During the on-road operation it offers swift moving offs and cultivated running. Its sufficient output and gear ratios enable problem-free motorway operation. This engine type is suitable for a modification to LPG fuel and can be diagnosed via OBD connector.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it." UAZ has been following this motto for the ''Bukhanka'' models for several decades. This vehicle offers features which are more than desirable for working off-road. There is not one useless electronic- there is only pure mechanics with military heritage.
